Two men have been arrested after a nurse was burgled while she was treating COVID-19 patients. The incident happened in Neville Road, Darlington, at about 5.30am on Saturday. The men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft from a motor vehicle. bit.ly/3dFBU8R

HM Inspector of Constabulary Lee Freeman has visited Belfast to meet with the Police Service NI and other criminal justice bodies. He met with PSNI senior executive team members to discuss our recent inspection report and offer support during a transitional period for the team.

We are supporting Project Hifazat, which replicates good policing practice to support Pakistan to improve investigations and prosecutions of rape and serious sexual offences. @AndyCookeHMCI welcomed a delegation from Pakistan, including Ayesha Raza Farooq, chair of National Commission on The Rights of Child (NCRC).
