Had my final birthday treat - a trip to the moon with Tom Hanks! Enjoyed an immersive experience at The Moon Walkers Lightroom, Using 1000s of high res stills & film shot by astronauts, screened in wrap-around IMAX, you are placed on the moon's surface. It was awe-inspiring.

Sad to discover that John Mayall has died aged 90. A great blues advocate & creator of The Bluesbreakers. Alumni include Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood & Mick Taylor. Not bad for a art student who started work in a Manchester department store
