Today we hugged Chris for the last time and said goodbye as he went to give four people the gift of life by donating his kidneys, liver and lungs. We are deeply broken and deeply proud. In life and in death, Chris never stopped giving. We walk forward with his light guiding us.

As you know, every 90 minutes someone dies from ALS. Today, one of those was Chris Snow. This one really hurts. We have a lot of shared loves. Baseball. Pearl Jam. Sons. Daughters. Wives. We talked often. He was with me in this wonderful Life. Now you're within me brother. LOVE

Flew home today on United Airlines and was able to watch this amazing documentary on ALS and Brian Wallach - the work he has done along with so many other ALS patients is amazing. This is why I am running the Chicago Marathon for TeamALS again. We need to find a cure!
