Happy to see that speed bumps were put in Fifth St Station in front of Planet Fitness, Haverty's and Dicks. I guess I'm not the only one who was upset about speeding drivers there. AND they put speed bumps behind the building because people speed there too.👏👏👏

What that means: A massive share of driving — i.e., neighborhoods that aren’t walkable — is result of driving mandates enacted & maintained by City Councils. We can end driving mandates & legalize apartments in walkable neighborhoods. And then, walkability becomes abundant.

My daughter and her colleagues met outside of work to compare their wages, and learned some upsetting truths about their employer.

One of the toxic things about my former employer was scheduling lunch meetings & acting like they were doing us a favor to allow eating during a meeting, but really were stealing the break we were entitled to. If you "ate" you were considered to have had a break.
