Prehospital sedation needs to be done with same standards as in hospital. Practitioners need to be experienced, with documented evidence of competence in airway management, and haemodynamic management. Safety cannot be compromised. Even ketamine isn’t always the ‘safe’ option

Today we completed a full circle of care for one of our patients. A t.crit IPATS t/f into #PICU Children's Health Ireland followed 6/7 later by a t/f to King's College NHS with Irish Air Corps & finally via our Repat team back to Cork University Hospitals to finish recovery.
