Seeing OTHER anime being AI dubbed, including shows that have already been dubbed proper by other studios (No Game No Life and Dororo) is such a telling sign of how greedy Amazon is being. Disrespectful to the creators, clients, studios AND the audience when you use AI.

The same people who say voice acting isn’t a real job are the same people who would give up on it within a week of trying it out. I mean, we are making some money from it regularly, so it feels pretty real to me. Took a LOT of work to get here though.

Amazon… you have so much money. You can more than afford to pay for an anime dub instead of having generative Ai do it for you 😡

Ahhh yes! The "voice actors are problematic" excuse which translates to "These VAs have strong opinions I disagree with and I want AI to replace them so my feelings would be vindicated" You defend a problematic VA of the sex pest variety. You should be quiet.

It’s never ok to use the R slur. It’s never ok to discriminate against and berate disabled people. It’s not an acceptable term to describe anyone, for any reason. He’s emboldening his base. They’re going to use it more often. Please speak out. Help protect disabled lives.

These shows and actors deserve better. AI can never and will never replicate actual human emotion and the creative artistry that goes into dubbing. This is not only damaging to the entire industry, but to the hard working talent who give their all to bring these stories to life..

What hope does any aspiring voice actor have now? Amazon has deep resources and should do better. They’re also AI dubbing over titles that already have existing dubs.
