According to official figures released today, there has been a significant 6.8% reduction in crime across our region.

That means 24,733 fewer offences, compared to the previous year - more than any other force in England and Wales. 

But, we need to do more.

It's clear that families will lose significant support as a result of cuts, and schools will feel the pressure.
