MOIA, NYC Department for the Aging, NYC Emergency Management, NYC Water, healthcare orgs, & local elected officials attended Marks Jewish Community Center’s Health Fair in #Bensonhurst 🧑‍⚕️🩺 We connected with over 50 older adults on city resources available regardless of immigration status such as IDNYC.

MOIA attended #ScienceSaturday 🧪🥼🔬🧬 at PS 121 in #Bensonhurst last weekend. We joined NYPD Community Affairs, NYC Water, & #Brooklyn community organizations to share city resources to parents & students. Partnering w/schools ensures we deliver key info to New Yorkers of all ages.

MOIA's outreach team was in Queens, & Chinatown, Manhattan, to provide information on NYC Care (healthcare for all), Medicaid, & immigration legal service information to NYers of all backgrounds. Thanks to Hispanic Federation La Jornada ,CENC, & NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi for hosting MOIA.

MOIA's External Affairs team was out in Brooklyn, Bronx, & Manhattan attending Youth Leadership, Spring Health, & African Community Conversations to share city resources, and services with all NYers. Shout out to Lincoln Center Catholic Charities of NY Brooklyn Center for ur partnership

Our team was in #Brooklyn this week. Thanks to our friends at Parent Child Relationship Association & United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, Inc. we successfully connected 70+ AAPI and Chinese-speaking community members sign up for IDNYC appointments & renewals. We also shared city resources available to all regardless of immigration status

We were back at NYC Health + Hospitals's Lincoln Hospital 🩺💊this week. Our team shared info on city resources to #Bronx locals, available regardless of immigration status. NYC H+H patients can use their IDNYC to streamline patient registration & for easy access to medical records📄

Commissioner Commissioner Manuel Castro & Deputy Commissioner Miosotis Muñoz joined Mayor Eric Adams, Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit & #Haitian city & community leaders 🇭🇹 for a roundtable amidst the crisis in Haiti. Attendees advocated for pressing needs in NYC & abroad such as English classes & legal support.

Join MOIA & Mi Casa es Puebla on #CincoDeMayo for the unveiling of a commemorative bench, hand-painted to resemble those in the Atlixco zócalo by artist Juan Manuel Martinez Caltenco. All community members are invited to #SunsetPark to celebrate & interact with the artwork.
