Having a hobby is linked to fewer depressive symptoms and higher levels of life satisfaction among people aged 65 and over, and this holds true across 16 countries on three continents, finds a new study led by Dr Hei Wan (Karen) Mak Behavioural Science & Health UCL ucl.ac.uk/news/2023/sep/…
With data from 16 nations, totalling over 93,000 participants, we examined how having a hobby might affect the health of ppl over 65. We learnt that having a hobby can be good for #mentalhealth , happiness & life satisfaction.
