Per Delegate Melissa Wells, "You cannot 'financial literacy' your way out of poverty...Collective bargaining rights is a way to close the [racial wealth] gap. This is how I got into the space with The Building Trades. #NSCSummit2023

To follow --- "Let's make sure on-the-ground projects are starting to happen now against the administration's standards (such as the #GoodJobs Standards), for when the money starts to hit our front doors over the next few years." - Delegate Melissa Wells #NSCSummit2023

Save the date, share the flyer, and join us on May 17th at Booker T. Washington Middle School for a Safety Hearing. The hearing will inform the future work of the board. We will hear from the public, Baltimore City Public Schools, and the Mayors office about safety plans for our kids. ❤️‍🩹

I'm saddened that our former governor continues to take credit for the federal funding a Democratic President/Congress provided states, and his party fought to end.

As Chair of the Baltimore Baltimore City Delegation, I saw Delegate Regina T. Boyce champion this local legislation for 4 consecutive sessions. She worked diligently in the interim to build support and finally get this done. Incredibly disappointed to see her leadership erased from this coverage.

Joe Biden is a gracious, down to earth leader who has never forgotten where he came from. I’m so blessed to call him an ally, friend, and our President. I share his confidence that VP Harris is the right person to continue to build on his legacy and their record of success.

There is only one person who has been shoulder-to-shoulder with Joe Biden. We are excited that Kamala Harris will run and Biden’s endorsement of her. We are confident that if nominated she will finish the job & continue to fight for the people who truly build & uphold our nation.
