Our Co-chair Tony O’Sullivan says the single biggest thing that could be done to help the NHS would be to restore pay & staff morale. Staff have given everything to the NHS and are now suffering moral injury due to an inability to deliver the best care because of underfunding.

Dr Helen Munroe, the newly appointed clinical lead for women's health in Wales, outlining now at the Welsh parliament how we need to guard against fragmentation in the NHS as patients can suffer as a result.

Evidence of mounting threats of disastrous cuts to NHS safe staffing - totally predictable consequences of deliberate Govt policy to underfund the NHS, and divert funding to private providers.

Brilliant news about the reversal of a terrible decision by NHSE to remove mental health support for hospital staff. HOWEVER questions must be answered as to why it was made in the first place.

Where is the risk assessment? Why was it done at such short notice, and why no consultation?
This is a management style that puts staff and services at risk, and can only demoralise already burned out staff at a time of great stress. It has to stop.

So glad you asked

1. Immediately settle all pay disputes/FPR with staff to get them to stay and the ones who've recently left to come back

2. Open 13k more beds (as recommended by RCEM) using the above to staff them

3. Invest in social care to free up capacity in hospitals
