Nice retrospective study on role of cytoreductive Nx in patients treated with ICI. Of Nx group, interesting that nearly 90% got up front surgery and only 10% delayed following ICI. Is this what most are doing? Sarah P. Psutka MD MS Mark Stein ari hakimi E Jason Abel sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Half of surveyed patients wouldn't want systemic therapy for PFS gains only (without improvement in OS). Interesting, thought-provoking, not terribly surprising. Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center academic.oup.com/jnci/article/d…

Fascintating: about a quarter of patients with with PSA 1.8-3 had pos MRI, and risk of csPrCA was 4.6%. PSA>3 csPrCA 9.3%. Interestingly, PIRADS appeared to perform the same regardless of PSA, although low PSA PIRADS 3 usually benign. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Novel data here. 1cm/mo thrombus growth seems fast to me (?wonder what median is), but I wouldn't plan a thrombectomy with month old imaging based on these findings. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Interesting XRT data for RCC. "we propose ... a randomized clinical trial of surgery versus SABR as the primary treatment modality in operable patients" with RCC. Agree, but would also throw in an observation arm. @_shankarsiva Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center thelancet.com/journals/lanon…
