Brexit, Tories, Covid & Climate Change. All the disasters. Rage, rage against the lying of the Right. (I mute for misinformation, rudeness and lunacy.)

Count Binface is iconic.

Got to love the way he beat Britain First in the Mayoral election. The moment when he asked the LBC interviewer what happened to Sangita Myska was superb.

Top tier legend 🦾

Number 10’s brilliant message to the voters today goes: “If you don’t want a hung parliament, vote Labour.” It will be one of the few messages from Rishi Sunak that will land fully understood by the electorate.

Dear BBC,
Here is your chief political editor, openly mocking the leader of the opposition. Your reputation for impartiality in tatters. She has to go NOW. Keeping her in position sends a very clear message to the electorate- you can't trust the BBC

I was really shocked to discover that the Murdoch papers and the Mirror titles carried on committing crimes for years after we thought they had stopped. So reckless, so sure that their power put them beyond the law (and they were mostly right). prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/media/ph…

Here’s the latest piece by @bynickdavies on how criminality at the Murdoch and Mirror tiles continued long after most people thought they’d given up. PS: it takes quite a lot to shock Nick

Boris Johnson said in 2004 that he would eat his ID at a polling station in protest if the law ever required it.

In 2022, he passed a law requiring ID to vote and dismissed criticism it would stop people voting.

In 2024, he forgot his ID when trying to vote and was turned away.

'The inflation shock of the past three years will leave a legacy of money worries. They will weigh on millions of Britons long after Sunak declares inflation beaten. The cost of living crisis has made Britain a poorer, more anxious country.'

This is obviously a problem journalists have had with Trump for a long time, but I feel like you shouldn’t print something misleading in the headline just because someone important said it.

As irritating as this is for anyone who understands elections or maths, it's a bizarre line for No 10 to pursue given Labour are desperate to avoid complacency about a big win.

Thing about our lives in the U.K. is we’ve got on with them as governments have come and gone. Covid changed that. Suddenly we realised we’d jokers in charge of whether we lived or died. There are so many life or death issues ahead - not least climate change - we’ve come to the…

Sunak can't tell the difference between Bury and Burnley. Conservative MPs call Birmingham and Blackpool 'godawful', Stockton 'a shithole' and Tower Hamlets 'a no-go area'. Then the Tories wonder why they get their arses kicked in local elections.

A reminder of a time when this country looked forward and did big things in partnership with others - rather than chase its tail into wistful, nostalgic oblivion.

There’s something important to highlight about recent raids, arrests & detention. It’s a routine part of our border violence; random arrests, indefinite immigration detention, stripping of smart phones, frustrated access to legal advice. Normalised human rights violations.
