Ten years ago today, I was training in BBC One presentation on a Saturday night.

Here's a short story about how Alan Dedicoat and the production team on The National Lottery made me the happiest person alive.

Counterpoint. The opening of TB causes unnecessary tailbacks and delays all journeys, generating pollution from idling. No ship needing TB to rise can get further than LB before having to turn around. TB should open once a month on a Sunday morning for anyone who wants to watch.

I mean it was always going to be this wasn't it. People who are massively ideologically committed, to the point where it would be humiliating to climb down, will just pretend any outcome showing they were wrong is fake and protest it

Also surprising to learn that Ming Campbell is only 82, given his age was a major criticism when he was booted as LibDem leader in 2007, aged a mere 65.

I had forgotten my favourite OJ Simpson fact (probably my favourite fact), OJ Simpson was a sprinter before becoming an American footballer, he took part in a race in 1967 won by a British athlete who ran under 10.2s for the second time that year

That athlete, Ming Campbell

For every two votes Labour lose to the Greens, they only need one vote from the Conservatives for the swing effect to be neutral (and positive in seat terms, because of increased efficiency). Similar dynamic to Conservatives vs Reform.
