And House Democrat's modified Shapiro budget, including ~$700 million in new education funding and $200 million in reoccurring funding for Whole Home Repairs, passes party line, 102-101. IIRC, this is the first bill to pass w/o a GOP vote.

House Bill 1168 made it through second consideration earlier today. There was one amendment that failed by a vote of 102-100. APSCUF looks forward to a future vote on final consideration and we thank Peter Schweyer and Rep. Tim Briggs for their efforts on this legislation.

House Bill 1168 passes the #PAHouse by a vote of 107-95. We thank all those who supported shared governance on the PASSHE Board of Governors. The bill now heads to the Senate.
