Anders and Cannon are using Java to simulate 2D collisions for their AP CS project!

Guest speaker Marijke Jorritsma from JPL spoke to App students this morning about her work in user experience design!

The App Academy sophomores had a great time visiting local software company Spokeo last week! Students heard from the CEO and engineers, and got a tour of the offices (some even managed to squeeze in a game of table tennis!).

App students heard today from two guest speakers from the City of Los Angeles's Information Technology Agency: they learned about how the City of LA works with open data, and cybersecurity!
