Tier 3 Tip for Teams: When analyzing student assessment data always consider "why" the student is not learning. Knowing proficiency levels tells you where they are today- knowing "why" they aren't learning gives you the information needed to be targeted & close learning gaps.

I love Des Moines Public Schools' common #grading framework that is shared on its website. Making Grades Matter: SBG in a Secondary PLC does a great job using this framework as an example when discussing the process of establishing a common grading purpose.
