Got two big assignments and a dissertation to get through this reading week but fuck it it's time to write another essay that only I will read.

How does he feel about handing it to an indigenous person such as myself? Call it #LandBack. Lough Neagh has been dominion of us Uí Néill for longer than there's been Saxons in England. If Shaftesbury were truly interested in what's right he'd give it to me by month's end!

"In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to God" is probably the truest line in the history of cinema.

This is like the 3rd article I've seen this month where the author wants to get rid of eulogies for some reason. Where is this coming from? I've never met someone with this opinion in real life.

Given that there is now not a single thing that costs less than 0,10 Euro, I propose the introduction of a new currency; the Euroo. 1 Euroo = 0,10€, No nonsense about cents. As a symbol we can add a third dash to the € symbol. We can repeat this again in 25 years to get Eurooo.

Why is there a need to invoke republicanism here? What does the fact that we "alleged"ly have a powerless president instead of a powerless monarch have to do with inheritance tax? What was inheritance tax like in the "alleged" Roman or Venetian Republics?

If you'd told Connolly that fellow participants in 1916 would end up interning and hanging Republicans I think he'd be endowed with enough healthy cynicism not to be entirely shocked, but I'm not sure how he'd react if you told him De Valera's signature would end up on the Moon.

Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn speaks of this. Catholicism isn't just a religion but an entire way of life, it has such a broad range that it's basically impossible to escape it. This is also why ideological dictatorships in Catholic countries have been far more benign than elsewhere.

This is the point of bodybuilding btw. It's intentionally about working "useless" muscles that don't matter much in manual labour. The Greeks invented it as a liberal art, that is to say the art of a free man. Free men don't engage in manual labour, manual labour is for slaves.
