Obama implores world leaders to ‘step up’ to avert climate disaster. The planet is going to be just fine. Humans and economic systems must act to save life on the planet as we know it. Let’s not turn on eachother when the planet turns on us. #savetheplanet theguardian.com/environment/20…

On the economy and fear of government spending - Reagan took the edge it from 70B up to 175B. Bush 1 took the deficit up to 300B. Clinton got it to ZERO. Bush 2 took it back up to 1.2T. Obama brought it DOWN to 600B. And this last guy took it back up to 1T. Seriously?

Lewis Hamilton says FIA ‘manipulated’ last-lap showdown in radio message. Violins are in order. Nothing worse in sports than an ungracious loser. Congrats Honda and Max. The better team won #maxverstappen theguardian.com/sport/2021/dec…

By ditching landmark climate legislation, America makes the world unsafe. No longer capable of global leadership. Why would the biggest contributor to GHG and global warming do the right thing? WVa, 110th largest economy, a planetary existential threat. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
