As a processor, since 2021/2022 we have noticed pricing on main raw materials(beef, chicken, eggs, flour, cooking oils) depending on the product, has increased anywhere from 25 to 100%. The % can be debated but evidence indicates food inflation has definitely been impacted

Everyone is for removing taxes, making it easier for Canadians. This will be a nightmare for grocers and small businesses to decode and then recode in February at a cost to the business owners The federal goverment did not think this through, nor did they consult with Dan Kelly

Eliminating the GST/HST is likely worse than doing nothing... Permanently eliminating taxes would have likely been more beneficial for consumers in the long run.
