What she should have said “hospitality industry employs over 3.2m people, generates over £40bn in tax and it’s something the UK is a world leader at, that’s why we are bringing parity to the tax system” instead of giving global film companies tax breaks, who move profit overseas.

This is so misleading, we are having to coach staff they don’t see this as they have NI and income tax to come off, water bills and council tax increases & inflation wipe this out. + so many businesses cutting hours and reducing staff bcos of PAYE threshold changes.
