The Thai Constituional Court has ruled that the Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat did not violate election rules by having shares in a media company during last year’s election. So he will be reinstated as a member of parliament. However the party faces other legal cases.

I’ve spoken (and written) to the DOJ and the FTC about this disturbing, growing trend in the entertainment industry. It’s anti-competitive, anti-worker and predatory. Regulators should review a corporation’s use of this tactic in evaluating whether to sue to block future mergers.

Awful news. Dara is a fantastic journalist, and has been responsible for a hefty percentage of the reporting on Cambodia's online scamming industry, including its connections to the country's political elite.

Journalist Mech Dara's work on scam compounds has saved lives. Many victims in SEA/globally were rescued because of his brave investigative reporting. He should be immediately released. Focus should be on the criminal syndicates engaged in scamming/trafficking.
