Well, travelling with my temporary chair has so far proved to be terrifying. My suitcase wouldn’t fit on my lap (it did last night), nearly got stuck at the taxi rank but thankfully staff #passengerassist and #paddington were fantastic

I am super excited to be speaking on this subject as someone who sees it from both sides. I have visible disabilities, invisible health conditions and now mobility issues but I also work in HR, support managers and am a D&I practitioner - can’t wait!! Scope Shaw Trust

Honestly the amount of time you spend as a disabled/chronically ill person waiting for appointments, results, treatments, anything at all… half your life has gone by and you’ve got nowhere. It’s so demoralising.

Early morning start, panicking over cutlery in the wrong place (I’m not a morning person), because I was overwhelmed at having to drive to hospital for a scan - taxis were either too unreliable or would have paid for a full tank of petrol 1 way…home safe, now to work - long day

Sigh, served dairy milk when I asked for plant based at a new bubble tea place. I don’t just choose to not have dairy, it makes me Ill due to damage from coeliac and inflammatory bowel disease. Good start to the weekend 😬 clearly not going back to that shop 😮‍💨 #coeliac #IBD

A talent many neurotypical people have that I deeply admire is the ability to contribute to a conversation on cue without interrupting anyone or being interrupted by anyone. How do they jump in at lightning speed with the perfect response? How do they get others to let them talk?

Feeling loved TK Maxx - told me I can go to the front of the queue if I need to from now on (I waited in the queue like everyone) - good to know for the really bad days when I need to run errands 🥰
