If the labour party sincerely believes a trans exclusionary women's conference is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim, they could have held one before the supreme court ruling. They didn't, so the question is why not?

Michael needs to re-read the legislation. The H&S regulations say there should be sufficient facilities for males and for females. It defines what a unisex toilet is acceptable for this purpose. It makes no ruling on trans people.
