Once I was in excruciating pain due to kidney stones. My family drove me to ED of a govt hospital at 2am. I was writhing & wailing. Every sec felt like a min. ED didn't consider my case as urgent & left me outside to wait in pain. So unless we're dying, ED won't treat us. 😅
