🤯Wut. Got invited to evaluate another programme and they have ON-SITE consensus meetings in Brussels! Brussels, here we come! 💃 On a side note, if anyone has recommendations on what to do in Brussels for 5 days, I'd be very grateful.

Currently at evaluator briefing: "Some proposals have been resubmitted so many times that we consider them obsolete." It's kinda good that EIC is limiting the number of resubmissions...

People, if English is not your primary business language, please get someone proficient to proofread your proposals.... Evaluators will be forever thankful 🙏

My thoughts and prayers to everyone receiving the evaluation reports right now for EIC Accelerator October cases. My blood rages.

I think we need an EIC AI the reckoning to flag obviously conflicting evaluator statements and kick off an additional evaluation round

Getting positive comments in the evaluation reports be like

I want a movie about this. Or a Netflix show. It has everything: the dream, the hope, the drama and the crushing defeat. #EICAccelerator

There are 3 types of evaluators: 1. Writes a novel in response. A conclusion is not always reached. 2. Writes one sentence in the report. Gives a GO. 3. Knows less than the applicant about the technology, market & EIC. Doesn't fully read the proposal. Gives a NO GO.

Evaluator 1: There is an inadequate representation of women and men. (huh, I guess the rest are robots?) Evaluator 2: We can see a fair representation of women in the core team.

The sheer number of grown-up people who do not know what a "task" is terrifies me.
