As I was leaving Fasig-Tipton tonight, I saw a trainer’s last moment with their horse. From humble breeding to a $3M sale—years of work and emotion distilled into a quiet goodbye just like so many moments along the ride… alone in the dark. The side of this game we rarely see.

I think a smart thing to do if they don’t want to relocate to Lexington would be to rent office space at the new Belmont Park. Especially since the silks registration office is located in their NYC office. Would give the NY employees daily access to racing and owners.
