Alice performed at Meymandi Concert Hall @ Raleigh Memorial Auditorium last night with her school’s honor choir! I’m so proud of her and the entire choir. They sang beautifully, and I loved watching! A huge thank you to their amazing music teacher and director Barina Bailey !

14 years ago I married this man! There’s no one else I’d rather have by my side through life’s ups &downs, and we’ve had a lot of those! He’s my best friend. I always feel so safe and loved when I’m with him. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of laughter he brings to my life.

We had a great morning at school with Lydia! We got to watch the Letterland Parade that all the K-2 students participated in. Lydia was Golden girl and her friend was Ms. I. Together they made 2/3 of a vowel team 😉

We are still very much in need of supplies and snacks! We’ve decided to extend our supply drive two more weeks. Please donate if you’re able. There are boxes in the hallways for students to place donations in 💙

Alice won a character Ed award yesterday for kindness. While I think academics are important and I’m always proud of all of her achievements. I believe being a kind human is the most important thing, so this made me one very proud mama ❤️
