😱 Final fully-loaded tester run on the bikes before we head on a McFam adventure to France this week. 🇫🇷 Things wobbled, straps flapped about & we had to do an emergency stop for brake maintenance 👩‍🔧🚨 T-minus 3 days until we get the ferry over to Brittany ⛴ 🇫🇷🥖 Stay tuned!

🇫🇷 TWO DAYS in to our McFamily pedal through Brittany. And there have been many wins. Mostly… 💪🏻 A toddler who naps on the move 🥖 Baguettes 🥮 Pastry Miles of traffic free riding and lots of playtime. We are knackered already but loving it!

🇫🇷 France McFam tour update… 🚲 Many gorgeous miles covered 🤬 A few flat tyres 🤒 1 x sick toddler 🤢 1 x sick mum 🤷🏼‍♀️ Countless plans changed ☀️ One show-stopping heatwave heading our way… 😬 Now it’s starting to feel like a real adventure.

🏖 💕Lush long weekend in Brighton. One morning, we went on a stroll to the beach but I forgot my cossie. So I went for a swim in my pants and it felt so gloriously British. Our car broke & we ended up having to get it towed back to Gloucester - all part of the adventure, right?

🧑‍🍳 🥾A recipe for a summer DATE NIGHT: 👶🏼 Take one contented toddler 👵🏼 Mix with a sleepover at Nanna’s 🦸🏻‍♂️ Add a good dollop of @adventureman (extra hot 🌶) 🏔 Stir in 2 cups of inspo from komoot ‘s encouragement to #OwnYourEvenings ☀️ Bake at 28 degrees (after 6pm) Laverly.

👯‍♀️TWINS! “Well I can tell you that there’s two babies in there.” The sonographer had had the ultrasound stick on my gel-smeared belly for approximately 10 secs before she casually broke the news.🤯 Now 20 weeks deep. Scared & excited & nervous and ALL OF THOSE THINGS at once 💕

🍁I FUDGING LOVE AUTUMN! If I could smooch a season, it’d be autumn. I’d use tongues & everything. Booootiful visit to Westonbirt Arboretum - Forestry England I was reminded that: 🌳Toddlers are easily amused outdoors 🍂Being near trees = Zen. 🤩Poking Nanna up the bum with a big stick never gets old

❄️ “OUTSIDE? OUTSIDE?” This was the chant of the day from one Miss Storm McNuff. And when I asked often if she wanted her gloves on the reply was “No mummy, I fine.” (Said as if it were a silly question to ask.) Followed by “Come Mummy, Feel the snow. It cold.” 🥰🥰🥰
