since our emails are being taken away, i'm wondering how I can transfer crucial documents from my google drive over to my non-UCD email (as advised) given the org restricts transferring ownership to non-UCD addresses?

From 2013, University College Dublin alumni retained their email for life. Until now. We’ve all just received an email with a deadline to remove/back up all of our of emails, Google Drive, etc.

Many of us made it our primary email as a result of the “email for life” advertising.

Since Sunday, I’ve had a torrent of sexist, racist, and Islamophobic messages telling me to blow myself up, calling me a whore, and accusing me of condoning extremist Muslims. I’ve had a video and opinion hit piece critiquing my journalism. The saddest thing? I expected this.

What happens when you get an editor and journalists of South Asian heritage writing a story on the 75th anniversary of India’s bloody Partition in 1947? It makes the front cover of The Guardian G2. You can read mine and Thaslima story on Partition survivors in today’s paper.
