My most favorite day of the year is attending Hillsborough High School graduation. It is a proud moment to watch our students walk to get their diploma and embark on their next adventure. Class of 2025! You did it!

My #PAEMST award certificate, lapel pin and a small token was delivered by a UPS delivery guy this evening. No trip to DC, no fanfare. Oh and the certificate wasn’t signed by the president who announced it or the current one. I am excited that it is signed by a woman in STEM!

Major career cheat code: Build a reputation for reliability. You can get pretty damn far by just being someone who people can count on to show up and do the work. Who stays true to their word. Who can figure it out. The old fashioned things never go out of style.

Friendliness isn't always a sign of trustworthiness. Warmth is easy to fake. The foundations of trust are reliability and integrity. What counts isn't courtesy in the moment—it's keeping commitments over time. The best way to inspire confidence is to consistently walk our talk.
