People can convert to any religion. If not you then your forefathers. But the culture of the land doesn’t change. You can not adopt an alien culture. Same with living in a new place. Globalised world has messed this up fully, sadly.

Amma decided not to attend a wedding today as she was just tired of too many events & her friends have called up asking why she isn’t there. 6-7 ladies, all spoke one after the other, telling her they missed her 🥹

Thing is old age comes with its challenges. No matter how fit & healthy you could be, there are many emotional & psychological changes that affects people deeply. Prolonged life, even with decent physical fitness does not mean strong mental fitness.

Met this girl from our area after 15yrs. Their house has their names in the plaque so I just took her name & spoke (I’m pretty bad with names). She clearly forgot my name so just called me Akka. Except I’m younger to her by 2 or so yrs 🤭 Now in all interactions I’m her Akka 😂

A red whiskered bulbul couple have found the grass broom kept outside in the garden and are happily plucking and taking it to build their nest. It’s a delight to watch them at work!
