I'm seeing kestrel quite frequently in recent weeks. Yesterday I caught a behaviour I'd not witnessed before - a kestrel expelling a pellet to get rid of indigestible bones. fur etc. Presumably a sign that it had eaten well earlier. #UKbirds #UKwildlife #birding

#UKbird ID help please. Seen in New Forest, on ~5 foot young pine. Area had gorse, with other interspersed young trees giving way to open heath/moorland. Several species seem possible fits - I have made my mind up - but not too confident. #UKbirding #UKwildlife #BirdID
