Let’s move to a 4 day school week but keep a 5 day work week. Every Monday teachers have the whole day to do all the things they should not have to give up their weekend or outside of contract time doing. Simple as that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Keep hearing of train burglaries in LA on the scanner so went to #LincolnHeights to see it all. And… there’s looted packages as far as the eye can see. Amazon packages, UPS boxes, unused Covid tests, fishing lures, epi pens. Cargo containers left busted open on trains. Not CBS Los Angeles anymore.

Uncertified emergency supply teachers will be paid more than some full-time EAs and ECEs! And people wonder why there is a staffing shortage!

I remember a time when politicians just resigned for doing shitty things. Now public monies have to be spent on sham investigations that end nowhere.

I had a wonderful substitute teacher 💜 in my class yesterday. She took the time to stop by my class today to tell me my students were absolute angels. Grateful for wonderful parents that make superb kids. École Notre Dame #blessed

When teachers say that leaving teaching is the hardest thing they ever had to do— believe them, because it is. Why? Because when a teacher leaves, you may see it just as someone leaving a job, but we see it as leaving something we love, and letting down students and families.

It sucks I even have to share this. But just in case.
