I was honored to have a ticket to share in my daughter’s achievement! As an HISD volunteer and philanthropist who has chosen to help her dance program, I have seen the effort, the time, and the heart she has poured into her students over this last year!

She has never wavered from what she has been called to do -Proud of you LC!! Thanks to all who have supported Lauren and the students at NFHS! It was a great night to spend with HISD educators! Congratulations on being awarded the HIGH SCHOOL BEGINNING TEACHER OF THE YEAR!

Grad student Lauren Chapman was named Houston ISD’s 2022-23 HS Beginning Teacher of the Year. She’s pursuing an M.Ed. in counseling & teaches North Forest High School. “My experience teaching at a high school level has contributed to my ultimate goal of counseling teens," she said.

We lost an exemplary Aggie friend and brother! Thinking of the Price family during this difficult time- From the day I met Terry at A&M in 1988, he was always respectful and such a gentleman. Proud to have been a friend and watch his success as a husband, father, and Aggie coach!
