I’ve been an NHS doctor for 20 years.

I remember when it used to work - when patients were see in a timely fashion, when people weren’t dying from waiting, when we were staffed and funded better

But over the last 14 years the NHS that I knew has been decimated

Good for you to recognise, Jeremy Hunt! Could you maybe increase the salaries of those doctors earning substantially less, as little as £15/hr, so they too might be able to house themselves?

We rely on GPs. I don’t think I realised until I worked in the NHS quite how much. They don’t just see us for appointments - *everything* goes back to them.

We should be fighting to recruit & retain qualified & experienced GPs. We can’t afford not to.

It's quite something when a government appears to celebrate tearing apart the families of international care workers.

Only investment in services will deliver for patients, not anti-migrant politics.
