.Andreya Padmore shares how vital it is to provide provocations and opportunities for students, even in the early years, to inquire about their communities, and listening to students and community partners to set up rich, reflective learning spaces.

Ty Elementary Teachers of Toronto for this empowering book! Ss loved listening to how Chris from A Boy and His Mirror by Marchant Davis found his voice. We discussed what the role of a King was and revisited it after reading the story. Next step, discuss some of the African Kings and Queens.

Thanks Elementary Teachers of Toronto for the book! Can’t wait to use it in the classroom.
