pewdiepie building his custom Alexa and other stuff was never something I expected 😄 it's so inspiring to see though. you can see he's really interested and having fun building these things. doesn't care that it is not perfect, but it's his own project. and he's just learning

A smart person correctly said that OTT is eventually a media problem and not a tech problem. I think AGI will eventually turn out to be more of a Psychology & Anthropology problem in the same vein. (and no we don't *need* AGI to unlock huge productivity gains)

Strava changed its 'share' feature to remove the high-aesthetic big pic small font, I was dismayed (I post my long runs on IG) So I instead put up a regular story on IG with a link, then realised that this could be a subtle nudge by Strava to get more traffic 🤔

Alcaraz tosses his racket and lands an incredible shot at the French Open. The umpire awards the point, but he turns it down, knowing it wasn’t legal. True sportsmanship!

Interesting that the top ranker for girls in IIT JEE Devdutta Majhi wants to go to IISc When India's most talented students explicitly prefer research institutes in India, big boost for R&D Perhaps she is the start of a shift towards research preference for JEE Rankers

New Unreal Engine tech pretty cool. Nanite Foliage to render full forests which react to wind, "chaos flesh" that uses ML, and water physics that cuts down on requirements. "AI will kill gaming", but not if Gaming coopts it faster. youtube.com/watch?v=FJtF3w…

Folks, if you see a picture of an absolutely jam-packed road in Bangalore tomorrow, don't immediately think that it is RCB being welcomed home. It's just a normal day.
