Confession of a teacher: I’m a slow reader. I need time to process. I’m not the best speller. My vocabulary is limited.

I love to write. I’m a writing teacher. For a while, I thought, I’m a teacher—I have no time to write. But I’m reading 180 Days by @pennykittle and Kelly Gallagher, and I’m realizing how stupid that sounds. I need to write BECAUSE I’m a writing teacher. Let’s do this.
