Definitely. Up to date stats are so critical, especially when writing about B2B software topics. It's something I had to figure out when I kept running into the problem but I've found a couple of these resources useful for discovering trends and overall market sentiment too.

If there was one piece of advice I could give myself early on in my career: Spend more time on outlines. - Get clear about the points you need to make - See how your piece should flow - Find the gaps where more research is needed - Finish your first draft faster
