It looks like demos like GPT-4o and others all work based on the model where the whole audio and video is sent from the clients. In the long term wouldn't it be more scalable (and add some privacy) a hybrid model where some A/V processing happens on device? I'm not 100% sure.

Do you have any data showing potential benefits of QUIC vs TCP for #WebRTC signaling in unreliable networks? (meaning use cases were throughput is not that relevant but latency/stability could be). Apart from the 0RTT benefit. Is there anybody apart from "Google Duo" doing it?

More and more signaling in GMeet has been moved to datachannels (I guess part of the Duo merge). Now there are ELEVEN datachannels. "dcrpc" looks like the most important one and "s11y-sync", "media-director" and "audioprocessor" the most magic ones I guess.
