My observation is people generally don't respect money in Ghana. If I pay €10 for this in a country with hourly wage of €13, that's ok. But a street food costing ¢50-¢100 in a nation with ¢21.77 as DAILY MINIMUM WAGE, that's madness or food insecurity must be taken seriously!

Everytime a see a shot like this, I shudder at how we decided this was normal. Or the country is waiting for the Volta River to get like this before getting angry?

We cannot joke about galamsey while our rivers are turning brown and forests disappearing. This is a fight for Ghana’s future. Enough talk. Enough committees. We need the ruthless fight against galamsey now. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️💔 #StopGalamseyNow

As a Ghanaian person, I’m curious what’s the first thing that pops into your head when you think of Ghana? 🧐 Like how people think of “nukes” when they think of America or “carpets” when they think of Iran. #StopGalamseyNow

I just came out of a dialysis center, and the number of young men there was really alarming. Apparently, many of the cases were linked to the abuse of aphrodisiacs. Dear young men,Trying to impress a woman by going to extremes isn’t worth risking your health.Take care of your

Europe’s abstentions are in many ways more dishonest than America’s outright no. At least a no is a position. A no says we have decided where we stand and we are prepared to own that position publicly. They want the credit for not voting no while also not accepting the

It has started...the 500 year cycle where an empire collapses is gradually rolling in. Now with this vote at the UN, Africa will begin to see who the actual enemy has been all this while. May our grandchildren endure the next empire to come till its their turn to RULE.

If I criticise the NDC or the NPP for Galamsey, I would receive more insults on my timeline than ever before. But if I just said “oh wow Galamsey is bad.. and it is about time we end Galamsey”. There ! Those bland words, that ascribe no responsibility and expect no

We can’t continue using NPP’s blunders to whitewash the NDC We can’t continue using NDC’s blunders to whitewash the NPP This foolish cycle of atrocities, retrogression and mediocrity must end. What we have are two hydra-headed cabals sucking us dry, not leadership.

Can we pause and talk about something important? Many of you followed the #StopGalamseyNow and #FreeTheCitizens protests closely. You watched as ordinary Ghanaians took to the streets to demand accountability, and you watched as the state responded by detaining them unlawfully.

Imagine a people who cry foul that someone should pay them for a Holocaust doing the very same thing for which Germany pays them millions. This world eh...
