Executive dysfunction isn’t laziness. Sensory overload isn’t being dramatic. Being unable to focus isn’t poor motivation. Avoiding eye-contact isn’t a lack of care. Melting down isn’t throwing a tantrum. Treating people equally isn’t rude. Burnout isn’t giving up.

What “experts” are saying: “People are doing so much better off of opioids. Pain is better. People are happier.” What my messages say daily: “I was stable for 20 yrs on Morphine. They took it away. Now I can’t leave the house and I consider suicide.” The disconnect is huge.

I’d like to remind ppl why the PH emergency was declared in 2016. It was declared bc the drug supply started killing ppl at an alarming rate & we haven’t been able to keep up with the ever changing drug market. This isn’t an addiction crisis, it’s a crisis fuelled by toxic drugs.
