I would accept this if:

- Meetings were not 1 hr long
- There are not back to back meetings
- Meetings are not moved/booked last minute
- People is not joining from different timezones
- There are not tons of invites, emails and notifications to ignore
- Work grind...

The 'problems' with react server actions, are the same problems with any RPC system across browser/server boundaries. It turns out the 'request' usually holds a bunch of useful information in the form of headers and such, and you want to be able to deal with them on a per request

Why is file navigation in mobile so hard? Knowing where stuff is saved requires hacking skills, apps save stuff in esoteric places, sharing content between apps needs multiple awkward steps... why is this not better?

The human eyes have 'only' 3 different colour receptors, so multiple spectra can be perceived as the same colour.
(And this without considering all the ways the signal is processed before you actually 'see' it.)

Sabine Hossenfelder makes a good point about LLMs being 'AI' or getting AGI. LLMs don't have awareness of their bodies, can't feel emotions, or the passage of time. It's pure words.

What do we mean by 'intelligent'?

You won’t lose your job because AI can replace you. You will lose your job because some asshat thinks that AI can replace you.

It's amusing for me how it can be that we know, we all know it deep in our hearts, and still most orgs choose to ignore it. We always think we are the exception.

UX dark patterns are many times used on purpose. Let that sink in: the web it's being made unusable on purpose.

I went from doing strength exercises in sets of 10 reps to multiple sets of 5 reps and it made the hell of a difference in developing muscle strength.

Who would have thought!?

The current tech recruiting process has no way to accommodate experienced generalists, even though many senior level roles need that type of person.
