Although I'm not in the country nor did our trust meet the threshold to strike (2 votes short, 3 staff voted for their old trusts). I fully support them and my radiographer colleagues up and down England. We need changes and a greater workforce for the demand that we see.

The NHS is in crisis now. We need an immediate plan which includes: a good starting salary to attract trainees; pay restoration over a reasonable time to retain colleagues; and an end to the long-hours culture and dependence on expensive agencies. #respectradiography

So today is day 2 of the Radiographer strike in England. I'm proud to be a radiographer, I'm on holiday & sending all the support to my colleagues in Trust's that met the threshold to strike. Workload is increasing but workforce isn't. Its not sustainable. #respectradiography

Heading back into London for a bottomless brunch for my friend's birthday then wherever the day takes us. Even though the weather isn't great still decided on a dress- even if I've gone for a more "wintery" look with tights and boots.

At Disneyland Paris waiting for the 30th finale celebration. One very long day in the parks 8:30am-10:30pm but worth it. Was reserved about 2 adults coming to Disney with no children but it's been great. Another magic hour tomorrow before leaving around 5pm for home. #disney30

Yet another successful meet-up with some friends and new people. Started at Camden Market and walked along to Paddington. Ended up staying longer with a drink and getting to know each other. Strange to think how lonely London can feel but been there myself... #llgc
