Muncher of Noodles There's also the Chūō superconductor maglev (sc maglev) in Japan, that is a different technology that requires a more airplane style of boarding due to the stronger electromagnetic fields. Good to research options, but i perdonally favor the #Transrapid-based types of technology.

The Hyperloop was doomed from the beginning because it was only ever announced with the goal of distracting from growing interest in high-speed rail and getting California’s HSR plans canceled. It was never “promising”; it was always a scam.

Paris Marx Tony Morris | American Maglev Ditch the tube and just go with #Maglev in open air, it's simpler. The German #Transrapid system proved itself in Shanghai and has inspired China to learn to build it themselves under license. They launched a 600kph Maglev train I hope we'll see more of. x.com/shen_shiwei/st…

It's really about biting the bullet, building isolated infra all the way into the stations, and delivering not only a fast but also a reliable connection.

An additional example of #hiddenhydro, #hydropower installed in existing #hydraulic structure that is not designed for energy production. Installation of hydropower in Irrigation channels, financial attractive solution without any additional #environmental or #social impact.
