While working on a new Win11 install with a non-standard NIC and no option to install the driver, I found this trick to continue on: At the "Let's connect" screen Press Shift + F10 to launch a prompt and run this command: oobe\BypassNRO - this will bypass the network requirement!

Seems the #NewTeams auto-start feature relies on a mechanism unknown to Sysinternals #AutoRuns / @markrussinovich : "User Manager" service → sihost.exe → msteams_autostarter.exe (why?) → ms-teams.exe Haven't figure out what tells sihost.exe to launch msteams_autostarter.exe.
