I don’t understand how people are willing to accept an extension to restrictions. Three weeks to flatten the curve…don’t you mean 15 months to capsize the economy, wreck children’s futures, destroy mental and physical health and deny basic human rights…?

A few questions for everyone that’s been jabbed:- Have you realised yet that the government is lying to you, and it’s not and never was about a virus? Are you all happy knowing you’ve had an experimental jab, that you didn’t need, to not be able to go on holiday?

What really struck me is how prepared Belavia staff and Belarusian officials for the arrival of Iraqi migrants, that outnumbered by far the other passengers. Both at check in and later at border control in Minsk, a separate line was created for Iraqis. 2/4

While most migrants I spoke too on the plane were excited they made it to Belarus, for some the reality of the journey ahead soon started to sink in. “Now I'm very hesitant, I'm confused, I don't know if I should go to the border,” one of the people I met texted me next day. 3/4

This looks like one of the last planes from Istanbul take migrants were able to take to Minsk. This morning, Belavia announced that it Iraqis, Syrians and Yemenis will be banned from Turkey-Belarus flights. 4/4
