This is our idea of wallpaper! Jenifer Elementary students worked on Black History Month projects highlighting the achievements of historical and contemporary figures. The projects are on display in the halls of the school this month.

Some Read Across Charles County day fun! 📖 We went around to a few classrooms at Eva Turner Elementary School and Jenifer Elementary to hear some fun stories read by the Superintendent of Schools, CCPS staff members and other guest readers. Happy reading!

Congratulations to La Plata High School students for being named 2A state champions in swimming. Gavin Abelende was named individual champion for men's 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle and Adeline Donnick named individual champion for 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard back stroke.

.Jennifer Holmes Magic was definitely in the house tonight at the CCPS Spelling Bee! Alec Gallahan, an 8th grader, is the county’s champ and is headed to nationals this summer.
