Excerpt from our animated horror short, “Stairway to Heaven”. (2/2)

Character sheet for Columbina, and the multiple forms she takes throughout the short. I felt it was important to never show her features in too much detail, as the enigmatic nature of the character really is what appealed to me in the first place.

Dottore segment 1-2-9, a lot younger and inexperienced compared to the original. Besides the signature tie, earpiece and red eyes, he takes on a simpler look to not attract attention to his field work.

brief explanation of a couple easter eggs -The gold cube is called a Jerusalem cube fractal, and the biblical "New Jerusalem" is a city shaped like a massive cube Thanks kenzo | けんぞう for the incredible BG concept art!

-Seven door locks: seven seals broken during the apocalypse -Room of houses: "In my Father’s house are many rooms...I go to prepare a place for you" -The door numbers count up by floor, but since the top floor is infinitely high, the numbers spill out of frame and onto the walls.

*also the concept of a biblical rapture with the lines "Two in the field; one taken, one left" implying the process is very sudden and not entirely peaceful

I was able to help with the #HoYoFair short with LO, 2nd keys, and inbetweens! Keys are entirely done by @/KieruArt I will strive to do better in my next works 🙇
